How this estimate works: AWS and variable bonus are treated as Additional Wages and, for calculation purposes, are assumed to be paid together in one month. CPF Board rounding rules are applied month by month.
This is an educational estimate, not an official payroll statement. Take-home figures are before income tax and other payroll deductions. Actual CPF can differ if bonuses are paid across different months, your age band changes during the year, you are in your 1st or 2nd year of SPR status, or other payroll rules apply.
Tell us a few things about your compensation package, and this calculator will show you how much your monthly take-home cash is and the total annual CPF allocation you’ll get.
Disclaimer: All calculations are an estimate based on statutory caps and should only be used as a general reference. For precise personal financial planning, you should consult an authorized tax professional or refer directly to the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board guidelines.
Using this Salary & CPF Calculator Simulator
Our Salary & CPF Calculator Simulator is designed to help you see how your take-home cash and retirement funds change based on base monthly pay, age-bracket shifts, and variable performance bonuses. Follow these steps to make the most of the tool.
Step 1: Enter Your Starting Details
Begin by filling in your regular contract pay scale and select the legal age classification criteria that apply to your employment status.
- Base Monthly Salary (S$): Your fixed monthly gross pay before any mandatory CPF deductions or community chest fund allocations.
- Age Range Structure: Your current age category. This handles adjustments because statutory employee and employer contribution percentages decrease as you cross milestones (Age 55, 60, 65, and 70).
Step 2: Adjust Annual 13th-Month Pay (AWS)
Next, determine if your corporate compensation package legally includes a fixed Annual Wage Supplement.
- Include AWS (1 Month): Toggle whether you receive an additional month of contract salary (traditionally paid out in December) which counts toward your annualized Additional Wage limits.
Step 3: Add Variable Bonus Assumptions
Decide how much variable performance bonus or commission payouts you want to simulate across the calendar year.
- Variable Bonus Months Slider: Drag the selector to represent your expected performance bonus (ranging smoothly from 0 up to 12 months of pay).
- The Additional Wage (AW) Ceiling: The calculator automatically applies the S$102,000 annual combined ceiling limit. If your base salary and bonus push past this, excess bonus cash is given to you 100% tax-free of employee CPF.
Step 4: Evaluate Output Summary Blocks and Export Matrix
You can evaluate your specific totals in real-time or download the underlying data profiles for external reporting.
- Summary Metric Blocks: Instantly scan your regular monthly take-home cash against your cumulative annual gross cash potential.
- Breakdown Matrix Table: Review exactly how standard working months contrast against high-density bonus disbursement months.
- Export CSV: Click the dedicated export utility action button to pull down a clean spreadsheet copy of your breakdown matrix data to save for your records.
