Currently, we have over 41 REITs that is listed in Singapore and each REITs comes from various sectors:

  • Data Centre REITs: 2
  • Diversified REITs: 9
  • Healthcare REITs: 2
  • Hospitality REITs: 6
  • Industrial REITs: 8
  • Office REITs: 6
  • Retail REITs: 8

The dividend distribution for the REITs are mainly separated into the following frequency:

  • Monthly: 0
  • Quarterly: 8
  • Semi-Annually: 33

Why Do You Want To Know About Singapore REITs Dividend Payout Frequency

Understanding the REITs dividend distribution frequency can allow dividend investors who are looking to invest in REITs as a passive income to get a better idea on how often will they get an “income” from their REITs investment.

Common Frequency of Dividend Distribution For Singapore REITs

Singapore REITs generally distribute their dividends on the following frequency:

  • Quarterly: Dividend distribution is performed in all 4 quarters of the year; Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4
  • Semi-Annually: Dividend distribution is performed twice a year according to the company’s financial year, but generally it is; 1H (Jan to Jun), and 2H (Jul to Dec).
  • Annually: Dividend distribution is performed once per year, generally at the end of the company’s financial year.
  • Monthly (Rare): Dividend distribution is performed 12 times a year and one time every month. (I don’t know of any REITs that have monthly dividend distribution, but if you know of one, do let me know)
