DBS Vickers is the first brokerage account where it all started when I just begin investing decades ago. While it have a much higher fees which eats into your returns, the advantage of DBS Vickers lies in:

  • Ability to allows investors to start investing with CPF/SRS funds through the CPF Investment Scheme (CPFIS)
  • Access to multiple market, but at the cost of much higher fees (up to 10 times the fees)
  • Offered by DBS, which is one of the largest bank in Singapore.

Personally, I will prefer trading platform with lower fees, but if you are unsure, you can still go with DBS Vickers, however do note on the drawbacks such as high fees and limited investment options.
