Step 2: Filling In Your Webull Account Details
After you’ve confirmed your phone number sign up, you can fill in your details to complete your account.
You can fill in your account details in one of 2 ways:
Option 1 (Recommended): Sign-up with Singpass.
If you are a Singaporean or a Singapore PR, you can use Singpass for your Signup.
Simply click “Continue with Singpass” and you will get all the required information filled up for you.
Option 2: Sign-up Manually.
If you are a foreigner residing in Singapore, or for some reasons why you don’t want to use your Singpass (I seriously can’t think of any), you can enter your details manually as well.
Once you’ve entered all your details, you will be greeted by the confirmation page.
Here you can check your personal details you’ve entered:
- Full name as per your NRIC
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Singapore Address
- Etc.
Once you’ve check all your personal details, click “Next”.
Step 3: Funding Your Webull Account
After you’ve done that, it is time for you to get serious and start funding your account.
There are many ways for you to fund your account:
- eDDA (Popular): Link your Webull Account with your DBS/POSB account for instant deposit
- Bank Transfer: Direct bank transfer
- FAST: Use FAST to fund your account
- Telegraphic Transfer (TT): Transfer using TT
Once, you’ve selected your option, you can start making your fund transfer.
Personally, I prefer “Instant Deposit via eDDA”, it is free, instant and the most convenient.
(Maybe because I am lazy and don’t like to wait for days before I see my money deposited, I prefer the easiest way to get funded.)
“Instant Deposit via eDDA”, it will let you link to your local bank DBS/POSB.
After your linking is successful (usually within 1 business day) you can start making your account funding.
Click on “Instant Deposit via eDDA” and you will be greeted by a screen that ask you how much do you want to deposit.
- Choose the bank account you’ve linked
- Enter the amount to be deposited
- Click “Submit”
From my own experience, the fund deposit is really fast within 30 seconds to 5 minutes.
PS. If you fund your account with S$10,000, you will be eligible for additional welcome rewards.
When your account is funded you can get started in investing.
